Aligarh district faced a severe malnutrition crisis with children being identified as Severely Acute Malnourished (SAM).
Traditional government programs were struggling with low recovery rates, limited community engagement, and inadequate nutrition support.
Families needed immediate, culturally-appropriate intervention to save these vulnerable children.
The District Administration launched “Suposhit Aligarh” – an innovative public-private partnership model.
By mobilizing (CSR partners) ‘Poshan Warriors’
Training community and delivering customized POSHAN MILLET KITS.
A structured result oriented, feedback-led system that ensures timely action, accountability and long-term sustainability—making the model both practical and replicable.

The Chief Secretary, Shri Durga Shankar Mishra, appreciated the initiative and encouraged farmers to adopt it. He recommended that the successful “Rampur Model” be implemented across the entire state of Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Amit Kumar Singh, Director (Panchayati Raj, Uttar Pradesh), issued instructions to implement the “Rampur Model” across all Gram Panchayats in Uttar Pradesh.
